Your new role
- Provide direct support to users across the organization
- Assess infrastructure on a regular basis to ensure it continues to meet necessary demands
- Develop new strategies and IT procedures to increase efficiency
- Install and configure networked servers, infrastructure equipment, and end user equipment
- Troubleshoot systems and hardware
- Manage databases and storage, including backup systems
- Document existing and future network changes
- Develop security policy and maintain as best practices change
- Manage information security
- ·Develop data system interconnect applications
What you'll need to succeed
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Computer Engineering or equivalent required
- Microsoft MCSE certification preferred
- Cisco CCNA Routing and Switching associate certification preferred
- CompTIA Security+ certification preferred
- Self-driven to take ownership of project developments
- Good decision-making, problem-solving abilities based on analytical/statistical approaches
- Excellent oral and written communications
