Duties & Responsibilities:
- Help to manage the gift card program & retail (CPG) program, including SIR portfolio-wide, brand-specific initiatives and with external partners.
- Work with freelance and agency designers, copywriters and our Marketing Managers to develop creative in support of marketing initiatives.
- Assist VP of marketing and Marketing Managers as required on brand initiatives.
- Assist with digital initiatives and programming, as required.
- Assist with partner relationships and programming, as required.
- Provide administrative support for the Marketing Department.
- General order fulfillment, both internally & externally.
- Management of guest inquiries and providing gift card support to guests.
- Participate in special projects, as assigned.
Requirements:
- Post-Secondary/University Degree – Marketing or Commerce preferred
- One to two years’ experience in Marketing, Sales or Agency side within a fast paced industry.
- Has reliable transportation
- May be required to work evenings and weekends
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Must be capable and savvy to manage an on-line marketing tool and back end set up for promotional activity (QR codes, email blasts).
- Knowledge of communication principles, media, and marketing techniques, and proven writing skills.
- Print production knowledge is an asset.
- Ability to work independently with little or no supervision.
- Must be highly motivated, with great enthusiasm.
- Ability to organize, prioritize and display flexibility within a multi-task, fast paced work environment.
- Proven organization, planning, and problem solving skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to anticipate, respond to and lead change.
