Job description

Tidewaters Liquor Store, situated in Surrey, British Columbia, is actively recruiting for the position of full-time and permanent Retail Store Supervisors. To be eligible for this role, candidates should possess a higher secondary education or equivalent, and ideally, have accrued at least 1 to 2 years of relevant work experience.

The person should be able to perform the following job duties and responsibilities for this job position:

• Assign sales workers to duties.
• Hire and train or arrange for training of staff.
• Authorize payments by cheque.
• Order merchandise.
• Authorize return of merchandise.
• Establish work schedules.
• Sell merchandise.
• Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising and personnel matters.
• Organize and maintain inventory.
• Resolve problems that arise, such as customer complaints and supply shortages.
• Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers.
