Job description
Position: Bilingual Customer Service Agent
Location: Downtown Ottawa (on-site)
Salary: $22 per hour + 4% vacation pay
Hours of Work: Monday to Friday (monthly rotation of 8-hour shifts between 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.)
Job Type: 6-month contract (high chance at permanency or extension)
- Deliver daily scheduled planning sessions to clients/customers
- Manage, verify, and reconcile expenses and claims for customers
- Review and reconcile relocation files, ensuring compliance with the Relocation Directive
- Review expense claims and resolve complex relocation problems
- Perform various administrative tasks including record keeping and data entry
- Assist other teams in customer queries over chats, emails, phone calls, voicemails
- Must be in or near Ottawa
- Background in relocation services is an asset
- Professional, self-starter with the ability to assume additional responsibilities and work flexible hours as required
- Previous experience in a customer support role through a contact center is an asset
- Capable of using different methods of communication simultaneously; i.e. email, telephone, video call, and chat
- Ability to plan and manage work under time constraints, without direct supervision
- Must have a valid Enhanced Reliability Security Clearance or be able to obtain one
- Bilingual in English and French (written and spoken)
