Senior Solution Architect Data Domain

We are currently looking for a Senior Solution Architect for one of our clients in the insurance industry.

What is in it for you:

Hourly salary of $110 to $125 based on experience.

6month contract.

Fulltime 37.50 hours per week.

Hybrid work: 3 remote days and 2 office days (subject to change).

Responsibilities:

Solutions and Assurance

Create data solutions and designs for projects meeting the company s technology standards ensuring availability security resilience and performance.

Produce design options with associated costs benefits and risks for investment decisions.

Collaborate with stakeholders to agree on tradeoffs between longterm and shortterm goals.

Ensure integrity of endtoend solution across platforms and transition states.

Shape and estimate IT initiatives and feature team sprints ensuring alignment with business outcomes.

Communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and nontechnical audiences.

Address solution debt incurred during transition phases and identify potential risks with mitigation strategies.

Participate in postimplementation reviews to improve future designs.

Technical Leadership

Stay updated with technological developments in data and analytics and assess their compatibility with the companys architecture.

Recommend tools frameworks and platforms for data and analytical solutions.

Define architecture best practices and standards and enforce them.

Conduct architecture reviews for compliance.

Produce design artifacts supporting various stakeholder groups.

Peer review design artifacts of colleagues.

Provide coaching mentoring and training to team members.

Design Community Membership:

Contribute to the Solution Architecture community leading or participating in initiatives to enhance the company s design approach.

Develop technical skills to support the companys understanding and exploitation of emerging technology trends.

Risk & Controls:

Identify own and manage key risks and IT controls.

Ensure timely remediation of issues and actions associated with controls/risks.

Maintain records and ensure controls operate effectively within the companys tolerance level.

Report and escalate status of risks controls and standards as needed.

Problem Solving:

Solve projectbased problems adhering to policy process and guidelines.

Escalate problems according to guidelines.

Recommend design solutions or ideas in response to project challenges.

Take personal initiative in adapting to change.

Collaboration:

Build effective working relationships with project managers platform managers architects and designers.

Maintain liaison with suppliers and relevant sources of technology to stay updated.

What you will need to succeed:

Experience in data and analytical architecture design and implementation.

Strong experience with broad expertise applicable across various customer and business scenarios.

Strong knowledge of endtoend project lifecycle methodologies primarily agile.

Experience in policy/data conversion from legacy to modern platforms.

Strong knowledge of data lifecycle management data retention data modeling and working knowledge of cloud computing and modern development practices.

Financial acumen to support the development of business cases and inform key design decisions.

Ability to balance longterm direction with necessary shortterm goals.

Demonstrated passion for technology and its utilization for the benefit of customers.

Communication skills with the ability to provide technical guidance to peers and project colleagues.

Strong personal impact and influence.

Good stakeholder and relationship management skills.

Leadership skills.
