DEPARTMENT: Physiotherapy
BARGAINING UNIT: SHCP
JOB TYPE: Permanent full-time
SCHEDULE: Day, 8 and 12-hour shifts. Work schedule may be changed to meet operational needs.
LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS: French essential and spoken English

JOB SUMMARY:
Provide professional physiotherapy services to clients referred to the department. Perform any other related duties according to departmental needs.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Member of the New Brunswick Association of Physiotherapists
- BLS (basic life support) certificate or willingness to obtain it (depending on type of clientele)
- Two years' work experience with pediatric clients would be considered an asset for obtaining the position
- Proven ability to function in various situations and to work independently
- Demonstrated skills in leadership, interpersonal relations and teamwork
- Ability to assess and treat referred patients in consultation with the patient, their family, the care team and other community stakeholders
- Proficiency using computer tools
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical ability to perform assigned work
- Valid driver's licence
- Good work history (performance and attendance)
- Adherence to professional ethics principles and organizational values
- Adherence to Vitalité Health Network's confidentiality rules
