Transdev Canada is thrilled to offer you the chance to kickstart your career as a casual handyDART Bus Driver at our Victoria, BC location. We offer paid training to become a professional handyDART driver.  We are also offering a competitive hourly pay between $26.72-$29.41/hr!

Your role:  

• Transporting passengers in a cutaway-style bus.
• Able to push clients in wheelchairs up ramps.
• Comply with Safety & Health regulations in the workplace.
• Must enjoy interacting with the public.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
• Maintain a clean and professional appearance and demeanour.

Your profile:

• Previous Transit or handyDART experience is not a requirement (training will be provided).
• You have a valid class 4 unrestricted Driver’s License or equivalent (If you have a class 5 license, please visit ICBC and get your learners, then email us once completed).
• You have a clean, “No Contraventions” Driver’s Abstract (We will require your driver abstract from ICBC).
• You are able to pass vulnerable sector records check.
• You are able to pass drug and alcohol testing.
• You are able to pass a criminal record check.

Your location:

• This is a casual, unionized position in Victoria, BC. The union doesn't allow part-time employees. 
• handyDART Bus Drivers are assigned two consecutive days off but need to be available for the other five. Early, split & late shifts may be required but most of the work will start in the late afternoons, evenings and weekends.
