The Boeing Canada Operations Ltd. is seeking an Associate or experienced Business Operations Specialist that will be reporting to the Business Operations Manager. The Business Operations Specialist will be an integral part of the Boeing team, helping to execute a variety business need. This position is located in Winnipeg, Manitoba .
The Associate or experienced Business Operations Specialist will be responsible for all items relating to production reporting; including collecting, organizing, analyzing and integrating data according to established processes within the management system. The position requires experience collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders to successfully deliver against Program commitments and priorities.
Position Responsibilities:
Assists in the development and integration of programs, plans, strategies and processes to meet business goals for authorization, such as sourcing strategy for commitment of work, cost imperatives, deployment analysis and impact mitigation
Supports the coordination and clarifies the analysis with business partners to validate results and determine scope to meet long range business goals and develop business case.
Supports the coordination of the commitments with internal and external organizations to fulfill strategies.
Identifies risk and opportunity potential, develops mitigation planning and refines the business case. Meets with leadership to gain approval.
Collects, organizes and provides data according to established processes within the management system to maintain status of programs, customer and supplier commitments and compliance.
Responsible for generating reports and presenting information to upper-level managers or other stakeholders.
Ensures follow up action for issue resolution.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at Winnipeg location.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
2+ years of experience with project management best practices (ex: risk, financial and/or schedule management)
Experience in collecting data, preparing reports, presentations and performance metrics dashboards to communicate operational status, project progress, and financial performance to stakeholders
Experience using MS Office based applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel and MS Project)
Must be legally able to work in Canada
Individual must not pose a risk for safeguarding of controlled goods
Must be eligible to handle US export-controlled data
Preferred Qualifications (Education/Experience):
5+ years of experience with project management best practices (ex: risk, financial and schedule management)
Experience with preparing and presenting data to senior leadership
Knowledge of business plan and policy development
Experience executing strategies that support business needs and drive employee engagement
Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification is preferred
Typical Education and Experience:
Associate (Level 2): Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+1 years' related work experience, 7 years' related work experience, etc.).
Experienced (Level 3): Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.)
Relocation:
Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
Additional Information:
This requisition is for a locally hired position in Canada. The employer is Boeing Canada. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in Canada. Benefits and pay are determined by Canada and are not on Boeing US-based payroll. This is not an expatriate assignment.
