Job description

We have an immediate opening in our Langley office for a full-time Production Worker for a Fresh Produce facility.

We are looking for people who have background experience with fresh produce knowledge and some food safety training (we do train in house as well). In this role you will be performing on daily In-processes and final QC inspection procedures for our produce and supplies. This role offers stable hours with job security as it is a full-time position. We offer a competitive starting wage based on your experience, and offer a ton of room for internal growth within our company. What you need to know:
This is a full-time, temporary to permanent opportunity
Location: Langley, BC
Schedule: Monday-Friday
Shift time: 6:00AM-2:30PM
Salary: $21/HR - $23/HR(based on experience)

You are legally permitted to work full-time in British Columbia and are located near the Langley region

Responsibilities
- Have the ability to review product upon arrival and report quality issues and deficiencies
- HACCP (Food Safety)
- Coordination and monitoring of transportation referencing to temperature of product
- Managing inventory regarding product quality
- Keeping a good attention to detail
- Assisting with coaching, teaching and training of staff referring to fresh produce and quality deficiencies
- May be physically demanding for bursts of time throughout your day

Qualifications
- Knowledge of fresh produce and a background in quality control
- Must have the ability to review product upon arrival and recognize quality issues and deficiencies
- Excellent verbal, non-verbal and written communication skills in order to report product condition
- Must be experienced with managing product inventory, FIFO program when required
- Team player, adaptable, and energetic with a positive professional attitude
- Ability to work in high-paced environment
- You can meet the shift and schedule requirements
- You can meet the physical requirements; lift, move product/supplies in excess of 50lbs (pushing, pulling, bending, standing for 8 hours)
- You have Steel Toed Shoes
- You are legally permitted to work Fulltime in British Columbia
