Director of Web
Our client is searching for a Director of Web to join their team. This role will oversee all web functions, including building the company’s overall public web experience, to support their requirement for a high level of service and excellent consumer experience. A successful candidate will have a high degree of business acumen, strong wide-reaching technical competence, have good organizational skills, and outstanding interpersonal skills. This role is based in the Regina office and reports directly to the Vice President of Customer Experience.
Your success will be defined by your ability to: - Develop and lead a team of web specialists focused on building and operating a complex public web experience
- Develop and promote the company’s public web strategy, in consultation with key stakeholders across the company, and aligning with the company’s strategic priorities
- Own the design, implementation, and maintenance of the company’s public web systems
- Design a scalable content integration process to support the growing needs of the business and the growing web team.
- Act as the primary point of contact, primary administrator and internal expert on the web strategy and systems
- Work with stakeholders from Executive, Sales, Sales Support, Information Technology, Customer Support, and Marketing to align company goals with web priorities
- Build and manage the day to day operations of a web team, including coaching, performance management and mentorship.
- Provide leadership and oversight of cost and resource scoping for large web projects as well as during normal operations for the company
- Integrate and reinforce data-driven decision making and increasing tracking of web analytics
Your strengths include: - Diploma or Degree in a related field
- 7+ years of experience in web marketing, preferably in a senior web leadership role
- Experience with content management systems, webapps, content delivery networks, marketing automation, web analytics, and similar technologies
- Experience managing multi-thousand-dollar project budgets, negotiating vendor contracts, and successfully getting approvals from decision makers when required
- Demonstratable experience in developing and delivering large-scale web strategies for a business, resulting in an increase in customer lifetime value and revenue for the organization
- Proven experience building and leading a team, demonstrating exceptional leadership and management skills
- Experience in the establishment of procedures for monitoring progress against the business plans.
- Ability to communicate with different stakeholders
- Experience in creating high quality reports and documentation for both internal and external audiences
- Keen interest and ability to conduct analyses of data and derive insight from those data analyses
