Job description

We are currently seeking a Coatings Color Technician for the Dartmouth, NS. The Coatings Color Technician will be working closing with customers and sales teams.

This is a permanent position, with a National company who fosters growth and clear career objectives.

Responsibilities
-Determine formula of color to match customer sample.
- Mix and apply coatings or tints to surfaces according to customer specifications.
-Read job orders, inspect surfaces, and determine procedures and materials for each job
-Inspect finished surfaces and retouch any defective areas.
-Clean and properly prepare surfaces to be tinted or coated.
-Maintain all coating/tinting, and warehouse quality control standards.

-Represent the company in a highly professional, safe, and cost-effective manner.
-Maintain a satisfactory driving record and comply with all safety and other applicable
regulations.
-Provide warehouse support when required which may include working as a warehouse
helper, shipping and receiving helper, or a traffic helper.

Qualifications
- High School Diploma or professional diploma in a related field.
-experience in a similar position, mixing, formulating, and
applying coatings and tints to various surfaces.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills.
-Good organizational skills and be able to work under tight deadline.
-Knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs.
-Dedicated, initiative and team player.
 -Ability to operate a stand-up forklift.
 -Ability to lift more than 50 lbs.
