Environmental Manager
Location – Markham, Ontario

Responsibilities:
- Manage operational and technical aspects for the environmental programs including project consulting and engineering for environmental site assessment and remediation projects.
- Provide senior level project management including technical program development, implementing quality assurance of performance, oversight of deliverables and budgets, personnel and resources, and client satisfaction.
- Supervise Phase One and Phase Two Environmental Site Assessment (ESA), remediation and Record of Site Condition (RSC) projects for contaminated sites and concerned properties on a variety of industries and land uses in diverse geographic conditions.
- Ensure the environmental projects in full compliance with associated guidelines and standards including O. Reg. 153/04 for environmental site assessment and soil and groundwater qualities, and O. Reg. 406/19 for excess soil management programs.
- Review and complete project proposals, environmental reports, technical specifications, and technical documents, and mentored and supervised environmental professionals.
Experience:
- Minimum of 8 years of industry experience.
- QP designation required.
- A strong background in environmental consulting and project management.
- Experience conducting Phase One and Phase Two Environmental Site Assessments (ESA) and implementing Excess Soil Management Programs.
- Knowledge of relevant regulations, including O. Reg. 153/04 and O. Reg. 406/19.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- A commitment to environmental stewardship and sustainability.
Compensation
- Salary range – 120K – 150K depending on experience.
