Grote Industries has an opportunity for a TERRITORY MANAGER, MANITOBA/SASKATCHEWAN & NW ONTARIO.
To organize and coordinate sales activity for the Aftermarket; Traditional & Heavy Duty accounts, as well as develop long term relationships with area fleets (end-user). The role also focuses on supporting and growing the OEM business with the OEM Manager. A key priority will be growing territory sales through supporting the Traditional, Heavy Duty, OEM accounts and managing the end-user (fleet) use/spec of Grote products.
Responsibilities & Customer-Focused:
- Customer contact – Fosters, maintains, and drives business through key customer relationships with all territory accounts and their sales management and sales forces.
- Profitably grow business within assigned area, maintaining awareness of market trends and opportunities.
- Analyzes new market potential and long-term growth for key new accounts.
- Manages and conducts training sessions, as required, and share product updates with customers, along with new programs or initiatives.
- Attends customers trade shows and events.
- Works with National Fleet Manager to develop and roll-out territory fleet plans and targets.
- Develops and rolls out business plans for key accounts identified each year by Management.
- Organizes field sales work with key Distributor accounts.
- Completes all requested/required paperwork in a timely manner and responsibly manages company assets and spending of corporate funds using good judgement.
- Implements marketing programs.
- Builds strong relationships with customers and follow-ups in a timely manner, ensuring that any customers inquires, or problems are addressed and resolved.

Degree or Equivalent Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Licenses In:
- Must possess and maintain a valid drivers license in good standing.
Travel:
- Approximately 65% within the territory.
