Allura Sex Therapy Centre is Vancouver's leading trauma-informed sex therapy practice that exclusively focuses on sex, sexuality, and relationships. We provide a sex-positive, pleasure-focused, and trauma-informed space to heal so our clients can have the sex life they've always wanted. Our clinic offerssvirtual session appointments as well as in-person , with a Downtown Vancouver location and offering counselling across BC and Canada. We aim to create a compassionate and inclusive environment for clients of all genders, sexual orientations, and relationship structures to receive the care they deserve.
We are seeking a part-time Intake Coordinator to join our team! The Intake Coordinator serves as the initial point of contact to inquiring clients reaching out to our practice, focused on finding the best fit match between inquiries and our clinical team – the therapeutic relationship is one of the most important factors in success in therapy! This position requires empathic and kind communication skills, a strong understanding of mental health and sexuality, and the ability to effectively manage some administrative tasks.

OKAY, the nitty gritty! Here’s what the duties and responsibilities include:
- Client Engagement:
- Provides welcoming and informative first point of contact with potential clients seeking counselling services both on the phone and by email
- Schedules new clients and ensures they feel comfortable and prepared for their first sessions
- Matches and connects inquiring clients with services at Allura and externally, including managing waitlists
- Welcome new clients for their first sessions when arriving to the office
- Appointment, Billing, & Administrative Support:
- Coordinate and schedule initial sessions and consultations for first sessions between clients and counsellors
- Process payments for client sessions, as needed
- Office Management:
- Interact and handle vendors (i.e., water, phone, etc.)
- Open and close the office on in-office days, ensure office is in clean and stocked, and office organization
- Team Collaboration:
- Work alongside the Client Care Team, including the Practice Manager and Client Care Coordinator, to provide a high-touch positive client experience
- Attend weekly admin meeting with Client Care Team & biweekly All Team Meeting
Other duties as assigned by owner as relevant to client and team care
Hours: 16 paid hours per week
- Sundays virtually: 10am-2pm
- Tuesdays in office: 10am-2pm
- Wednesdays in office: 10am-2pm
- Thursdays in office: 3pm-7pm
Pay: 22$ per hour
