Assistant Team Lead Personal Lines  Concord/Vaughan


Our client is looking for a highly motivated, pro-active, Assistant Team Lead to assist in achieving the daily and long term objectives and goals for the department.

You will be responsible for working with the Team Leader as required on supervising staff, training, mentoring, coaching, employee performance development, and employee engagement.

You will work closely with the Team Leader and perform management duties when the Team Leader is out of office or in meetings. You are an excellent communicator, a collaborative team player, a multi tasker, your highly organized, and most importantly, you will assist the Team Leader in fostering a cohesive, results oriented team environment!


In this position you will also be the Senior CSR to top tier client accounts in the brokerage with the responsibility for retention and growth.


Responsibilities Include:


Manage multiple accounts; develop positive working relationships with all clients
Maintain retention targets and sales targets byway of new business opportunities, referrals, cross selling and upselling
Adhere to established processes and workflows as it relates to the producers’ you are working in partnership with
Focus on ensuring we maintain superior customer service standard levels, operational efficiency, and continued process improvement
Assist Team Lead in delegated tasks, projects, and set deadlines
Help create and foster a cohesive team environment with a culture of open communication
Assist in supervising the day to day activities of the Personal Lines Department
Assist in the monitoring team performance and provide feedback and employee performance reports to Team Lead
Assist in training, onboarding, and monitoring new employees
Assist in coaching, monitoring, auditing, and performance development of existing team members


Qualifications:


Currently holds a RIBO license in good standing
Minimum of 7-10 years previous Personal Lines Insurance experience
Superior client service skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Excellent organization and time management skills
Demonstrates the ability to function in a fast-paced, multi-faceted environment
Strong analytical and decision making skills
Demonstrated the ability to adapt to change and exercise good judgement
Extensive knowledge in Power Broker BMS, insurance portals, and insurance markets
