POSITION: Office Manager / Bookkeeper
JOB TYPE: Full Time
LOCATION: Grande Prairie, Alberta

JOB SUMMARY:

The Agency is assisting JENN Trucking Ltd. Oilfield Hauling in the recruitment of a full time Office Manager. JENN Trucking Ltd. Oilfield Hauling is a family owned and operated oilfield trucking company that has been in business for 30 years in the Peace Region. The successful candidate will be a detail oriented, trustworthy individual looking for a long-term career.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversee adherence to office policies and procedures

• Allocate tasks and assignments to team members and monitor their performance
  
• Liaise with staff and management, managing employee and management concerns
  

• Organize orientation and training for new staff members

• Track vacation time, sick time, and other leaves in the office

• Manage multiple office calendars, including but not limited to accounting and payroll
  

• Create office forms and letters, as needed

• Process invoices, A/R, A/P, and payroll (CAFT payroll processing)

• Post journal entries and reconciling of accounts

• Prepare reports for management, bank and accountant (Month end, GST, WCB, Year end, etc.)
  

• Maintain up-to-date information on company website

• Responsibilities, duties, and requirements may vary according to company needs
  

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum three (3) years experience in administrative management role and accounting/bookkeeping
  

• Experience with Axon Trucking software is considered an asset

• Experience with Cortex, Open Invoice, and Pandell

• Experience in oil and gas industry preferred

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

• Cooperation with management and other team members

• Compliance with company policies and procedures

• Perform accurate work to the highest standards of accountancy

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Detail oriented, self motivated, reliable, and dedicated

• Exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality regarding all company matters
  

• Current RCMP Criminal Background Check

• Drug and Alcohol test (THC included)
