Job description
Our client, a financial software company , is actively looking for a Marketing Manager to join their team on a hybrid schedule in Toronto .
**This is a 1-year contract with the possibility of extension or conversion*
As a member of the Accountant Marketing Team, the successful candidate will manage and execute product marketing initiatives to ensure relevant new product enhancements and programs across the online ecosystem are effectively communicated to our accountant customers. They will work cross functionally across the go to market team, product management, customer success and sales to understand the impact of new product enhancements on our customers and develop a communication strategy to support awareness and change management.
Responsibilities
- Drive end to end Accountant GTM efforts for all online product enhancements across the entire ecosystem
- Manage execution and measure the implementation of integrated tactics to support product feature updates (email, IPD, digital, content, sales enablement etc.)
- Support and execute change management communications related to pricing and offer management
- Project manage initiatives between cross functional teams, guiding initiative from implementation to post analysis
- Strategic thinker with experience partnering cross functionally to ensure overall strategy and objectives are maintained
- Develop and implement marketing plans to serve the business objectives.
- Manage ongoing relationships with various marketing vendors to oversee advertising, events and content creation.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to ensure project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets
Qualifications
- Executional excellence: experience executing tactical go to market initiatives across various channels from planning to delivery.
- Relationship management skills: ability to influence great work and partnerships with internal/external partners with ongoing thoughtful and actionable work input
- Extensive and applied knowledge of marketing communication best practices: planning, measurement, messaging, channels
- Demonstrate ability to write effective creative briefs and evaluate creative
- Demonstrate proficiency with self-service data tools and can define requirements for tracking, analysis, and reporting
- Project/program management experience; working with internal cross functional teams, external agencies and partners (customers).
- Experience demonstrating the ability to bring structure and frameworks to ambiguous situations.
- Good organization and attention to detail
- Excellent written and interpersonal communicator.
- Minimum 3 years marketing experience, preferably in B2B marketing communications
- Direct marketing experience in SaaS, Telco, Financial Services an asset
