Job description
Locally owned and operated company is seeking an experienced driver/equipment operator. Our growing business currently requires a full time sanding truck and bobcat operators. Experience with operating a bobcat and other equipment would be an asset. If you are comfortable operating various types of equipment, are dependable and available to work flexible hours, this could be a great opportunity for you! We are seeking an experienced individual with a valid class 5 drivers licence. Must have great written and oral English skills, know the city well and not be afraid to get hands dirty occasionally. Some automotive/mechanical knowledge is an asset. Must be a self starter with the ability to think outside the box. We are a growing business with various jobs on the go and may require help with other various tasks. Requirements include but not limited to: · Ability to learn quickly, and adapt to change and be flexible in nature · Strong communication skills – daily communication with site associates and team members · Proper operation and maintenance of all equipment/trucks · Strong commitment to providing excellent customer service · Problem solving and decision-making capabilities · Ability to follow direction and work independently or as a team · Proven safety record and ability to complete company safety requirements · Familiarity with computer tablets is an asset Only applicants with a valid Alberta drivers licence, current drivers abstract and resume will be considered.
