Job description
As a Director of Finance & Customer Success you will manage operational financial reporting budgeting and planning processes in all key business functions and play a leading role in ensuring the company meets it s short and longterm targets.
Scope of duties
- Take a handson role in leading the financial reporting process including preparing consolidated financial statements monthly management reports and analysis to guide decision making.
- Prepare accounting records and documentation including bank and credit card reconciliations intercompany accounts payroll accounts receivable and payable and HST filings.
- Manage yearend external audits and be the main point of contact.
- Manage accounting controls and tools (e.g. QuickBooks Online Ceridian Float) and identify efficiencies and opportunities for cost reductions across the business.
- Assist in the annual forecasting and budgeting process.
- Ensure compliance with local law tax provisions and relevant industry and financial regulations.
Requirements
- Canadian CPA designation.
- 8 years experience as a senior accountant financial controller FP&A or similar roles (strategic finance corporate finance investment banking private equity consulting corporate development).
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Excellent organization and time management skills.
- Ability to build strong collaborative working relationships with internal business partners and department leads.
- Thrive in a dynamic fastpaced environment and is not fazed by ambiguity.
- Experience in SaaS or a highgrowth tech company is preferred.

Education:
- Bachelors Degree (preferred)

Prepare bank and credit card reconciliations, inter-company accounts, payroll, accounts receivable and payable, and HST filings. 6. Manage year-end external audits and be the main point of contact. 7. Accounting Controls: QuickBooks Online, Ceridian, Float 8. Forecasting, budgeting, tax provisions and financial regulations compliance.
