Kelly is a global leader in providing workforce solutions. Our client is looking for a Permanent Inventory Management Specialist with excellent communication skills and an upbeat attitude for a permanent position in Belleville, ON.
Responsibilities:
- Sources products from branch inventory, distribution center inventory, or supplier inventory
- Drive to customer sites, deliver & put away ordered products at respective VMI locations
- Provide on-site customer service and coordinate inventory replenishments for contracted customers in Kingston and Belleville locations.
- Handle the picking, packing, delivery, and storage of Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) orders at customer locations and the branch.
- Conduct regular inventory counts, scans, and manage contracted SKU's and stock.
- Ensure accuracy in all supply areas, including product replacement, maintaining barcode labels, and maintaining cleanliness.
- Manage product outages, communicate concerns to customers, account representatives, and reporting managers.
- Inspect vending items for wear, defects, and expired products, reporting any damage.
- Perform routine maintenance on vending machines and adjust as needed.
- Provide support to Branch warehouse operations, counter sales, and handle administrative duties, including various projects assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications: - 2 or more years of experience with Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) and on-site operations or warehouse personnel for a company providing VMI/on-site services in the Industrial Supply sector.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- High school diploma or higher education
- Strong customer service and communication abilities.
- Energetic, self-motivated individual with a strong work ethic
- Proficient time management skills, capable of multitasking
- Ability to lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds
