Our client is part of an established school group in Asia and their growing campus in Shanghai is urgently seeking for a Secondary English teacher who would be able to lead them through the IB accreditation process. The school will go up to Year 9 next year and an ideal candidate should be happy to be in the classroom inspiring students and help lead the school in preparing for the IB accreditation process.
To apply, you must have:
**Bachelor degree in Education
**Teaching qualification
**Minimum of 5 years teaching experience, preferably the ENC curriculum/IBDP
**Experience as IBDP Coordinator or Head of Department preferred
**English native speaker
**Flexible to adapt to new culture
Main duties:
**The IB Coordinator has a specific responsibility for administering the Diploma programme in the school and ensuring that the programme meets the required standards and practices of the IBO.
**Communication with parents, students and teachers is a key aspect of the role, both to explain and to promote the programme.
**The Coordinator is the primary link between the school and the IBO and is responsible for ensuring Heads of Department and teachers have access to up to date information and appropriate training.
**The Coordinator oversees all aspects of the programme including Theory of Knowledge, CAS and the Extended Essay.
**The Coordinator will be responsible for the administration of all IB Examinations and internal assessment, ensuring deadlines are met and that students are supported through the examinations and beyond.

A salary from 25,000 up to 35,000 CNY (Chinese Yuan Renminbi)per month based on experience and qualification, 10-25 % Tax is applied
