Automotive Service Tech - $38 - $40/hr - NW Winnipeg

Are you an experienced Automotive Service Tech with 5+ years of experience since attaining your 310S ticket?
Do you have a strong work ethic, the ability to work with minimal supervision, and looking for a role that opens the door to leadership opportunities?
Are you confident in your ability to diagnose/service out-of-warranty mechanical and wiring issues on cars, pickups, tow trucks, and 1 tons?

If so, I'd love to hear from you! A local auto machine shop that specializes in out-of-warranty work and the remanufacturing of brake and powertrain components is looking for an experienced 310s mechanic to join their Automotive Service Team.

Permanent Position
Schedule: Monday to Friday daytime 8am - 430pm
Salary: $38 - $40 per hour (310s Red Seal Automotive service Techs)

Responsibilities
As a ticketed Automotive Service Tech, a normal day would include:
- Reviewing open work orders for the Automotive side of the shop
- Assisting Jr Techs to increase efficiency and workflow
- Performing vehicle inspections to identify and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues
- Using specialized diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and troubleshoot more complex problems within vehicles
- Carry out routine preventative and out-of-warranty corrective maintenance
- Complete safety inspections to ensure vehicles meet safety regulations
- Maintain accurate records of all services performed
- Utilizing strong communication skills to explain vehicle issues to other mechanics and customers

Qualifications
What do you need for this position?
- 310s Automotive Service Technican ticket
- 5+ years of experience after obtaining Red Seal
- Able to perform safeties on cars up to Light duty vehicles
- Ability to do out-of-warranty work on cars, pickups, tow trucks, 1-ton, and PTO (Power Take-offs)
- Hold a valid class 5 license
- Must be a resident of Manitoba and legally able to work in Canada
