Job description
The Web Content Coordinator will update, design and publish content for all Pursuit websites. Reporting into the User Experience Lead, the Web Content Coordinator will work closely with Pursuit’s Digital Marketing Team, in addition to other Marketing team members within the Pursuit marketing organization to ensure that Pursuit’s websites are supporting our vision/mission, growth strategies and revenue targets.

- Execute content modifications, additions, deletions and implement approved digital enhancements within the web content management system.
- Set up new website pages/sections and campaign landing pages within the web content management system.
- Contribute to the process of information design, to ensure that content is appropriately structured to meet the goals for the sites and the needs of users.
- Perform image manipulation tasks such as resizing, color correction and other graphical elements.
- Collaborate with the Platforms + User Experience team, developers and support team members on the production of websites and digital platform improvements.
- Ensure quality assurance, consistency and brand alignment of all web properties.
- Continually monitor the websites in a proactive manner to ensure that content is current, and pages are error-free.
- Execute user-experience tests and provide insights and recommendations.

- 2+ years Web Development experience using a CMS
- Solid understanding of HTML and CSS and how websites are constructed
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in Computer Science, Web Design/Development or related field or an equivalent level of knowledge acquired through a bootcamp-style program
- Must be able to create and edit images and vector graphics using software tools such as Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
- Experience working with project management tools (like Asana) is an asset
- Experience with SEO, Semantic Markup is an asset
- Experience with/understanding of WCAG, ADA and other web accessibility standards is an asset
- Bonus points for experience with working in Kentico
- Bonus points for experience with working in a shared services department

This job is based in Calgary, Alberta and current, legal ability to work in Canada is required. The Pursuit Marketing team is currently working from home, and when it is deemed safe to do so, will migrate to a flexible working environment.
