Position: Java Developer
Location: Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada
Job Descrioption:
5-8+ year’s Extensive technical experience in SDLC and Strong development and hands-on expertise in below technologies as outlined.
Hands on Java-J2EE Development, Micro services, Spring web services, Spring, Spring boot, Webservices (SOAP & REST API’s), React JS is essential.
Exposure to DB and optimizations, Monitoring tools, CI/CD – Jenkins, GIT/Bit bucket experience Preferred.
Experience with TDD, code testability standards, Junit & Mock unit testing Frameworks
Domain: Retail Domain Experience and Knowledge about e-commerce is preferable.
Possess advanced knowledge of object-oriented design and development (OOA/OOD) and the J2EE framework and design Patterns.
Experience working with and applying Design patterns to solve problems.
Participate, Conduct requirement analysis and design, Develop High level Design & Low level Design including UML diagrams and share with the development Team.
Lead, co-ordinate with onshore/offshore team during development activities and Use best practices and coding standards.
Conduct peer-reviews and lead reviews and provide feedback
Develop, maintain, troubleshoot, enhance and document components develop by self and others as per the requirements and detailed design
Conduct thorough unit testing and integration testing for the whole application.
Communicate project risks and to provide the mitigation plans updates the same in the RAID logs.
Result and detail-oriented approach with strong analytical, communication, leadership skills, interpersonal and collaborative team working skills.
Strong and Excellent Verbal as well as Written Communication Skills along with providing presentations to executive management.
Individual Contributor, Taking Complete ownership and accountability in driving the development Team throughout the SDLC phases from Requirements discussions, establishing traceability metrics, Design, Development, and Unit Test Execution, working with business stakeholders to help drive UAT test cases and closing the UAT sessions till GO LIVE of the project.
Good problem-solving skills. Great attitude for learning and easily adoptable to Project ecosystem & Process.
