Job description
Must be familiar with hand tools including grinders files and other tools to clean and shape. Use abrasive materials and various hand tools such as files and wire brushes; operate various power equipment used for deburring such as bench grinders or rotary sanders Ability to read and interpret documents such as blueprints safety rules operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Grinding / metal finishing experience Ensure conformance of work through quality process and measurements Moderate to heavy lifting required up to 100 lbs (with assistance).Work safely and independently with minimal supervision Good attention to detail handeye coordination Ability to work well as a team member or independently Coordinate grinding activities with Material Handlers to ensure smooth flow of material Regularly clean the grinding and work area Other duties as assigned.
