EXP is currently seeking a Project Manager in our Barrie, ON office. The successful candidate will provide Environmental Investigation, Remediation and Risk Assessment support for EXP throughout the Simcoe area.

What a day at EXP has in store for you

Provide leadership, training, and operational support to junior and intermediate staff in the areas of environmental site assessment, remediation and/or risk assessment, as applicable, within the framework of Ontario Regulation 153/04;
Manage the technical, schedule and budgetary elements of projects and provide day-to-day project management and compliance with site, corporate and regulatory standards;
Serve as a resource in your field(s) of expertise;
Analyze and prepare documentation, presentations and reports for internal and external stakeholders;
Gain and share knowledge through participation in technical societies and/or attendance at internal and external programs; to a degree consistent with individual and business sector goals;
Engage with other senior members within the firm to advance our brand and standing with clients.

What your experience looks like


Professional Engineer designation in Ontario (P.Eng.) is an asset;
Over 10 years of experience in the environmental field in Ontario; Preference will be given to those with consulting experience;
University degree in Engineering;
Knowledge of provincial (Ontario Regulation 153/04, Ontario Regulation 406/19, Ontario Regulation 407/19, etc.), and federal (CCME) guidelines for contaminated sites assessments;
Experience in contaminated sites investigations (Phase I/One and II/Two ESAs) is a requirement;
Experience in remediation and risk assessment (with a focus on Risk Management Plans) is preferred;
A motivated, self-starter with a demonstrated ability to work independently as well as within a team environment;
Detail oriented, organized and self-motivated individual;
Excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as technical writing ability.
