Position Summary
As the Manager of Data Management and Analytics, you will play a pivotal role in our organization by overseeing the analytics function and leading a team of data analysts. Your primary responsibility will be to translate and aggregate our raw meter data into bill ready data and provide valuable business insights on any data anomalies or gaps. You will have the ability to introduce leading edge technologies enabled by AI to streamline your processes and modernize analysis. The incumbent will lead a high performing team to develops standards, practices, tools, and KPI measures to drive outcomes in data asset reliability. The role works closely prioritizing with field operations teams meter data issues investigations and resolutions as well with billing teams for data availability. Key Responsibilities:
Data Collection and Analysis:
- Develop Strategies for Effective Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Design and implement data analysis methodologies, techniques, and tools.
- Create custom reports and presentations, accompanied by strong data visualization and storytelling.
- Create roadmap and implement AI technologies for Data Analysis
- Ensures timely and accurate delivery of meter data by overseeing data collection across multiple Data Management systems.
- Manages processes to maintain high data integrity through control, audit, and validation of data capture, estimation, and validation procedures.
- Analyze data usage patterns and trends to identify data exceptions and abnormal behavior.
- Generate regular reports and dashboards to provide insights into data usage metrics.
- Drives innovation and establishes best practices, standards, and methodologies for advanced analytics and data availability.
- Correct discrepancies and ensure data quality.
- Work closely with stakeholders to address any issues or concerns related to data usage and metering.
- Defines and implements key performance indicators, tools, and support to drive data integrity and availability.
- Collaborates with IT, Field Operations and Engineering teams to maintain and monitor meter data management system performance, initiating necessary actions for optimal performance.
Team Leadership:
- Provide leadership and guidance to a team of data analysts and metering specialists.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment focused on continuous improvement and excellence.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching and development opportunities for team members.
- Lead internal and external resources to execute advanced data metering analytics.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (BSc/BA) in Computer Science/Engineering, Statistics, Data Management, or a related field.
- Certification in data analytics (preferred)
- Proficiency in data analytics and query tools such as Python and SQL and Microsoft technologies such as Power Platform.
- Solid track record in data analysis and reporting; industry experience is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
- Experience with Data Management and aggregation
- Three (3) years of experience in Information Technology Data management (preferred)
- Three (3) years of progressively advanced data analytics experience
- Proven experience in advanced analytics, and data science
- Knowledge of statistical analysis, and predictive modeling
- Three (3) years of progressive leadership experience
- Championing collaboration, outstanding cross-functional partnership, and communication skills, including interacting with senior leadership.
