The IT Software Developer will be based at our Papendrecht site in the Netherlands in this global functions role support all our business lines (Civil, Defence & Engines), the incumbent will have the flexibility to work from home for up to 2 days per week dependent on the needs of the business. The IT Software Developer will report to the CoE Manager WDMS whilst being responsible for designing, programming, testing and maintaining High Level Control software. This software implements business logic in material handling systems and forms the part of our systems that interact with the users. The IT Software Developer will take the lead in designing, programming and testing the software based on a design concept and a set of requirements. In some cases, The IT Software Developer will have to personally formulate these requirements together with the (end) users and/or internal stakeholders.
