Job description

Do you have previous experience as a lab technician or lab assistant? Are you available for a full time, temporary assignment starting ASAP for approximately 6 months. Potential to be extended based on business needs. This is a full time, daytime role at a company located in Downtown/North Winnipeg.

The chosen candidate will be able to accurately analyze, calculate and report data on a wide variety of wheat, flour milling and shipping samples.

Responsibilities
-Grinding up grain and running tests on grain
-Data entry
-Computer use (Excel and Word)
-Working independently

Qualifications
-Track record of attendance and reliability
-Ability to follow direction and work independently
-Basic computer skills (Excel and Word)
-Strong written and verbal English

-As this position requires you to work directly with grains must ensure to not have any grain or wheat based allergies
-Experience with flour milling is an asset.
-Experience with H.A.C.C.P. and Food Safety is an asset
