As an Industrial Mechanic at AIM Lévis , you will have to perform the necessary tasks to maintain the conveyors of our sorting center in good working order. Reporting to the Garage Manager, your responsibilities will include:

• Jointly ensure compliance with health and safety rules with team members;
• Repair, maintain and check conveyors and related equipment;
• Carry out mechanical repairs;
• Perform daily maintenance of the plant;
• Carry out welding, flame cutting, drilling, etc.;
• Adjust the conveyors;
• Operate a basket and a forklift;
• Clean machinery;
• Maintain goods and equipment in good working order;
• Ensure the factory is functional for daytime production.

• Relevant experience of at least 1 year in a similar position;
• Experience driving a forklift, BobCat, aerial platform and crane (an asset);
• Commitment to good health and safety practices;
• Good physical health;
• Hardworking, responsible, available and autonomous;
• Have a sense of organization;
• Be comfortable working outdoors and thus being exposed to hot or cold temperatures.
