Key projects: The Data Scientist will leverage the data rich cache of Gameplay data within the studio to help create the best gaming experience for our players.
The role will consist of • Collaborate with Gameplay Engineers and Designers to understand the game and their features.
• Create, update and support game play telemetry events.
• Test and debug telemetry events. Supports efforts to apply debugging tools and examines logs, telemetry, and other methods to verify assumptions proactively before issues occur and reactively as issues occur.
• Deploy builds while applying best practices for the deployment of changes safely.
• Contributes to the development of automation.
• Design, create and maintain PowerBI reports for stakeholders throughout the studio.
• Design, implement and validate hypothesis driven/exploratory analysis projects.

Requirements/ HARD SKILLS • Minimum 1+ years coding experience in python or similar language
• Ability to read and comprehend C++/C# code.
• Experience working with version control tools e.g. Git
• Experience working with manipulating large data sets using SQL, Hadoop, Spark, etc.
• High degree of intellectual curiosity.
• Strong communication skills.
• Strong relationship building skills.
