Job description

This is a contract position for a Technical Specialist - Case Management and ERP for our public sector client.
Work location: North York
Duration: Ten Months
7.25 hours/day
This is a Hybrid role that requires the candidate to be onsite 2 days of the week (This is a mandatory requirement of the role and is non-negotiable outside of exceptional circumstances.)

Responsibilities
- Designing, developing, and implementing front end code including user interface interactions and effective user interfaces for Curam application
- Software Upgrade planning and implementation for Curam application
- Required to translate technical systems specifications into working, tested applications. This includes:
• Developing detailed programming specifications for Curam application
• Writing and/or generating code for Curam application
• Compiling data-driven programs, maintaining, and conducting unit tests
• Resolves and troubleshoots technical problems which arise during the use and operation of software packages, including technical assistance in implementation, conversion, and migrations

• Familiar with Azure devops , to extract user stories, features & bugs

Qualifications
Technical Knowledge and Expertise
- Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies for Curam application. IBM curam V6.0.4 or higher application development
- Extensive knowledge of Cúram Child Welfare and Provider Management from developing modules related to case management, legal, disclosure, resource management, participant management etc.
- Extensive knowledge of the advanced features of Cúram such as IEG (Intelligent Evidence Gathering), Evidence, Financials, Service Plans, Web Services, CER (Cúram Express Rules) and Citizen Portal (Citizen Self-Service)
- Previous experience in assessment, planning and estimation, impact analysis and code merge, test strategy, change management for Cúram maintenance and upgrade projects
- Previous experience/knowledge working with CI/CD tools, cloud device solutions, DevSecOps tools
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills

Organizational and Project Management Skills
- Knowledge of project management and in-depth knowledge of task estimation, scheduling and control
- Experience working on multiple projects with multiple team members and competing priorities
- Experience in Release Planning to align release date with development cycles, internal test cycles and UAT cycles
- Extensive experience in scope management and prioritization in consultation with business team(s)
- Previous experience in deployment planning and support activities
- Development of documentation and materials as part of a review and knowledge transfer to other members

Communication and Interpersonal Skills
- Experience in developing and maintaining positive business relationships and collaborate effectively with clients, colleagues, and partners
- Experience in providing detailed assessment and impact analysis
- Effectively communicate technical information to diverse audiences where the subject matter or organizational position may be contentious
- Strong client service and service delivery skills, enabling you to work well in a fast-paced environment
- Resourceful and have well developed analytical/problem solving skills
- Can lead and support the delivery of organizational priorities using a collaborative approach
