Company Overview:Our client is a premier resort destination for skiing and snowboarding. They are located 30 minutes outside of
Vancouver, BC with beautiful views and fantastic working conditions. They are seeking a highly skilled and motivated
Maintenance Manager for their vertical transportation systems.
As the Maintenance Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing maintenance, inspection, and repair of the ski lifts and related equipment. This position requires a strong technical background, leadership skills, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety and reliability.
What you will be doing as a Maintenance Manager:
- Team Leadership: Lead a dedicated team of lift maintenance technicians in day-to-day activities. Foster a culture of safety, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the maintenance team.
- Routine Maintenance and Inspections: Schedule and conduct routine inspections to identify and address potential issues. Develop and implement comprehensive preventive maintenance programs to optimize lift performance.
- Budget Management: Prepare and manage the lift maintenance budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions without compromising safety or quality. Source and evaluate vendors for equipment and services.
- Regulatory Compliance: Stay informed about industry regulations and standards, ensuring compliance with all applicable codes. Work closely with regulatory agencies to maintain necessary certifications.
What you will need:
- Qualified Millwright – Red Seal
- 3 years of supervisory experience is preferred
- Completed Lift 150, 151, 152, 153 is preferred
