Job description

Randstad Canada is currently hiring a Warehouse Support Member for one of our esteemed clients in Oakville, Ontario.

Are you an individual who is able to Independently handle tasks such as: gripping, lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying light to heavy boxes, and perform other physical tasks for s long time? Then this opportunity is for you.

Available shifts are: Monday to Friday - 9:00 am to 5:30 pm

The pay rate is $20/hr.

- This role requires a reliability clearance, which includes completing fingerprinting.
- Candidates are responsible for the initial fingerprinting costs, but Iron Mountain will reimburse this expense after your first month.
- While you may receive the job offer promptly, you can't start the role until the clearance is processed, which may take a few days to a few weeks.

Responsibilities
- Use computer systems to track orders and determine the location of boxes
- Operate hand held scanner
- Arranging and selecting orders containing multiple cartons/boxes filled with paperwork.

- Load and securely shrink wrap pallets at ground level or on carts.
- Manually load packages onto pallets and load pallets onto trucks, using material handling aids as needed.
- Able to load, operate, and maneuver hand carts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
- Lift and carry boxes weighing between 10 to 100 lbs. without assistance for long periods.

Qualifications
- Comfort lifting heavy boxes of documents
- Able to work in a walking and standing position for the majority of the role
- Must be able to complete a criminal background check and reliability clearance
