Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior High-Rise Construction Project Manager to join our team and lead the successful execution of our upcoming high-rise projects. The ideal candidate is a seasoned professional with a proven track record in managing complex residential construction projects, particularly high-rise developments. This role offers the opportunity to be a pivotal part of our continued growth, contributing your expertise to shape the skyline of Ontario.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the entire lifecycle of high-rise construction projects, from initial planning and design to final delivery, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and meeting quality standards.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including architects, engineers, contractors, and vendors, to ensure seamless coordination and communication throughout project execution.
- Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resources, while monitoring progress and making necessary adjustments to ensure project milestones are achieved.
- Implement best practices in project management, risk assessment, and quality control, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all project-related stakeholders, providing timely updates, addressing concerns, and managing expectations effectively.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, building codes, and safety standards throughout the project lifecycle.
- Mentor and lead junior project management staff, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and performance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in residential construction project management, with a strong focus on high-rise developments.
- Proven ability to successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously, demonstrating exceptional organizational and multitasking skills.
- In-depth knowledge of construction methodologies, materials, and best practices.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- PMP or equivalent project management certification is desirable.
