PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:
The Manager of Procurement Governance has overall responsibility for the usability, utility, and utilization of CPKC’s Source-to-Pay processes and technologies.
POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Set system requirements in support of business needs and ensuring delivery against those requirements
- Responsible for the sustainment and continuous improvement of Source-to-Pay (S2P) and Material Management (MM) systems. Work with Information Technology teams to prioritize enhancement opportunities. Assign, direct and guide members to ensure delivery as planned. Foster a culture of continuous improvement of S2P systems and processes.
- Direct, prioritize & assign projects to improve S2P and MM process and performance. Provide guidance and feedback. Lead major projects.
- Develop and deliver on content enablement strategy that creates value for downstream users of 3rd party goods and services. Assign enablement projects to team members. Oversee delivery of the annual enablement program.
- Responsible for overall user experience. Develop and execute strategies to improve end-user competency through a variety of methods including direct user training, how-to documentation, and feedback reporting.
- Set and operationalize master data strategies
- Provide input to Director COE on policy changes to drive improvements in S2P performance. Develop and delivers on strategies to support compliance.
- Work directly with Supply Chain Reporting Specialist to deliver critical reporting to support systems usage
- Direct COE team activities. Balance team member workload as needed to ensure the team is operating at optimal efficiency.
- Promote and foster collaboration, knowledge sharing between teams, adoption of and compliance to best practices within S2P processes
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, procurement, business or other related disciple or equivalent work experience
- Minimum 3 years’ management/leadership experience
- Minimum 5 years combined procurement, sourcing and/or purchasing experience
- Experience administrating SAP Ariba or equivalent procurement technology
- Strong communication/influential skills, change management experience
- Strong customer service focus

Management Conductor Program:
