Studio Unagi is a Premium animation studio specializing in 2D Tradigital animation, based in Montreal in the heart of Mile-End.
As part of the “Bestiale” production for Ankama, we are looking for a 2D Tradigitale animator.

Job Description :
As a Senior 2D Animator on our creative team, you will be at the heart of the animation process, bringing captivating characters and scenes to life. Working closely with animation supervision and direction, your role will be essential in achieving the overall artistic vision of our projects.
Responsibilities:
Artistic creation : Bringing characters and environments to life through quality traditional digital animation
Collaboration with the Technical Team : Work closely with the technical teams to understand and improve the animation tools made available.
Respect of Deadlines : Respect the delivery deadlines defined by production and quickly inform Production Coordination if it is impossible to meet these deadlines.
Review and Improvement : Review and improve animations based on feedback from the creative team and clients.
Maintaining Artistic Consistency : Contribute to maintaining artistic consistency throughout the production process.
Technological Monitoring : Stay informed of the latest trends and technologies in the field of animation.
Required Skills :
Very good understanding of traditional 2D animation principles and their applications
Demonstrate strong drawing skills
Have an excellent sense of posing and timing.
Excellent artistic and creative skills.
In-depth knowledge of the Toon Boom Harmony pipeline.
Ability to work in a team and collaborate with other departments.
Attention to detail and precision in the work.
Ability to meet production deadlines.
Minimum 5 years of experience
