ETSM Technical Services Ltd. has an immediate opening for a Millwright/Maintenance Mechanic on our day shift. We are a custom manufacturing facility in Guelph and have been family owned and operated since 1985. We have a small company feel with competitive wages and benefits. Job Requirements and Responsibilities:
- Perform tasks independently and in a team setting under general supervision
- Perform and/or assist in the assembly and install of customer equipment
- Troubleshoot and perform preventive and corrective maintenance to facility machinery, equipment and plant support systems, utilizing a working knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical.
- Perform inspections, repairs and modifications to customer equipment
- Perform rebuilds and overhauls to machinery and equipment; both in-house and off-site
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints/drawings (abbreviations, symbols for machining/welding/assembly, tolerances); of mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems
- Ability to think under pressure and make quick decisions to repair equipment/machines to minimize downtime.

Qualifications & Knowledge:
- Experience with assembling new machines/automation, hydraulics/pneumatics, basic welding skills an asset
- Experience using specialized measuring tools (micrometers, gauge blocks, calipers).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Willing to travel (service/repair/installation/commissioning of equipment at customer facilities from time to time) within 100 kms
- 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing, maintenance or job shop environment preferred
- Fully skilled individuals who also possess an Industrial Electrician 442a or General Machinist designation will be given preference
- Valid G drivers license with clean abstract
- Possess strong interpersonal skills
- Clearly communicate in English in both oral and written form
