Job description

Title: Senior Accounting Technician
Salary: 65 000-75 000$/year
Location: Ville Saint Laurent
Schedule: 37.5 hours/ week

Our client a company in expansion is looking for a senior Accounting technician to join their great team. Possibility of evolution

Perform payables entries, including invoice validation with purchase orders and delivery notes;
Perform bookkeeping and month-end process;
Help with monthly financial statements, as well as various reports and analyses;
Production cost analysis and close collaboration with production;
Make payments;
Accounting and review of expense accounts;
Prepare bank, credit card and other reconciliations;
Perform customer invoicing;
Prepare tax returns;
Participation in year-end audit preparation;

Responsibilities
Perform payables entries, including invoice validation with purchase orders and delivery notes;
Perform bookkeeping and month-end process;
Help with monthly financial statements, as well as various reports and analyses;

Qualifications
Minimum of 5 year's experience with the full cycle of accounting
Experience in the manufacturing or distribution sector is a strong asset;
Collegial degree in accounting
Excellent communication skills, ability to establish and maintain harmonious and effective interpersonal relations;
Thoroughness and attention to detail;
Proactive;
Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel;
Good teamwork and organizational skills;
Excellent Level of English and functional French.
