Warehouse Clerk - Receiving/Shipping

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Load and unload delivery trucks.
• Verify the accuracy of orders and place items on shelves.
• Prepare orders, package items, and ensure completeness of orders.
• Operate a forklift.
• Participate in inventory counts.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse.

• High school diploma.
• 1 to 2 years of experience in receiving/shipping.
• Proficiency in spoken and written French.
• Basic knowledge of spoken and written English (an asset).
• Valid driver's license.
• Forklift operator certificate.
• Good physical capabilities, including the ability to lift or move loads of 50 to 60 pounds repeatedly.
• Strong customer service and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and good work organization.
• Knowledge of the fire protection and/or plumbing industry (an asset).
