JOB TITLE: Theatre General Operator

DEPARTMENT: Community Services

NUMBER OF POSITIONS: 6

JOB STATUS & DURATION: Part time

HOURS OF WORK: 24-hour work week / shift work / variable hours (primarily evenings and weekends)

LOCATION: The Rose Brampton

HOURLY RATE: $36.60 per hour (out of schedule rate)

JOB TYPE: Union

AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY:

 

Report to the Supervisor, Theatre, Technical Operations, or Coordinator, Theatre Technical, Liaise with clients, professionals and community performing arts groups on matters of a technical nature to ensure superior customer service as it relates to load-in, performance set up, running of performances/events and load-out across City theatres and other event locations.

** Various tests and/or exams may be administered as part of the selection criteria.

 

**Preference will be given to students that have a permanent residency in Brampton.

 

Alternate formats will be provided upon request.

 

Interview: Our recruitment process may be completed with video conference technology.
