Job description

We are seeking a skilled Litigation Administrator to join our client's dynamic legal team in an apparel industry.

As a Litigation Administrator, you will play a crucial role in supporting their legal efforts by managing and organizing the administrative aspects of litigation cases. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with lawyers, paralegals, and other legal professionals, contributing to the successful resolution of legal matters. This individual will be supporting various departments legal work and will come with minimum 2-3 years of full time legal assistance experience and background.

Responsibilities
Some of the responsibilities for this Litigation Administrator are as follows:


- Provide support to the senior litigation team including administrators and paralegals for the intake and allocation of litigation claims/correspondences/actions
- Accurately gather evidence and organize the delivery process through a Discovery tool
- Navigate independently through the life cycle of files, track deadlines, updates, schedule meetings with lawyers, tracking case status and communicate the decision to claimants
- Maintain legal reports and organize legal documents and pleadings
- Partner with other paralegals and litigation administrators of different departments for any cases that require collaboration
- Efficiently and effectively use the legal tools and systems for all areas of litigation
- Provide entry level administrative support outside of core responsibilities and share workload with other administrators within legal department.

Qualifications
As a Litigation Administrator, you must qualify:

- 2-3 years of litigation/legal assistant background in supporting full life cycles of files
- A Litigation Administrative Assistant Certificate or Diploma ,
- High organization skillset and problem solving attitude
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
- Microsoft Office, Share point, eDiscovery
- A Bachelor's degree is an asset
