Job description

We are looking for a Law Clerk, Litigation

You will work in partnership with a dedicated team of litigation counsel and law clerks to deliver effective and efficient legal services for cases across Canada. You will be involved in defence files related to a wide variety of issues affecting the organization, including complex claims, short term and long term disability, investment-related matters and other issues. Applying your education, practice experience and business knowledge, you will add value by providing key law clerk services and supporting all aspects of the litigation practice. You will help drive continuous process improvement and innovation within the litigation team.

This position is hybrid work style requiring a minimum two days in a Head Office location.

Reliability Status security clearance - this is a personnel security status that is required before an employee can gain access to Protected B information, assets or work sites as outlined by the Government of Canada website

The base salary for this position is between $49,100 - $77,700 annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc). If you are selected to move forward in our recruitment process, your recruiter will be able to discuss additional details of our total rewards program with you.
