salary range: $75,000 - $85,000
ABOUT
The Instore Products Solutions (IPS) division of Instore Group of Companies is focused on B2B expansion through the growth & development of various lines of sustainable & eco-friendly products that consumers use for their everyday shopping need.
THE POSITION
The National Account Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans to increase sales revenue and market share in the Grocery, Pharmacy, Retail, and Foodservice markets. The position will be accountable for generating and qualifying new business opportunities through high-level conversations with Category Managers in current and prospective accounts. The role will involve managing a portfolio of accounts with the aim of expanding each partnership by providing industry leading support.
RESPONSIBILITIES
● Manage and grow existing key accounts: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers to understand their needs, identify growth opportunities, and drive sales revenue.
● Identify and develop new business opportunities: Prospect and generate new business opportunities to expand the customer base and increase market share.
● Negotiate contracts and agreements: Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with customers to ensure profitable business deals that meet both the company's and customers' objectives.
● Develop and execute strategic account plans: Develop and execute account plans that align with the company's overall sales and marketing strategies to achieve sales targets and objectives.
● Collaborate cross-functionally: Work closely with internal teams such as marketing, product development, supply chain, and customer service to ensure customer satisfaction and overall business success.
● Manage accounts and opportunities through Salesforce CRM software
QUALIFICATIONS
● 3+ years of B2B account management experience
● University or College degree in business or related discipline is an asset
● Understanding of Retail, Grocery, Pharmacy, and/or Foodservice market dynamics is an asset.
● A proven track record of success, aggressive business growth, and exceeding quotas.
● Strong phone and email communication skills to support relationship building
● Effective organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and meet timelines.
