About the Role:
Reporting
The Fleet Analyst for the Aircraft Leasing Division reports directly to the Director of Lease Operations.

Key Performance Indicators / Duties & Responsibilities
Successful candidate to be responsible for end-to-end management of Utilization Tracking, Maintenance Reserve Claim Processing and Event Forecasting processes across leased fleet.
Utilization Tracking
- Ensure timely submission of accurate monthly reporting from customers.
- Update, validate and routinely audit aircraft specific Maintenance Reserve Balances.
- Identify discrepancies in reporting and work directly with customers to resolve.
- Identify utilization trends and implement alerts to ratio exceedances that may require rate adjustments negotiations with clients.
Maintenance Reserve Claim Processing
- Reserve claim approval focal.
- Work with customers to ensure collection of complete claim package per lease term requirements.
- Facilitate technical review to verify eligible expenses.
- Build approval package for Senior Leadership identifying exposure and recommending value maximizing solutions for the lessee and lessor.
- Exceed service standard expectations in timeliness, communication, and transparency.
Event Forecasting
- Monitor and assist in tracking of life remaining on airframe/hard time components (Props, Gear, APUs).
- Identify and report on near to medium term exposure.
- Work with technical, spares and leasing teams to proactively minimize operational impacts.
Other responsibilities
- Be ERP evangelist, SME, and drive companywide adoption.
- Identify data or process inefficiencies, recommend improvements, and support meaningful changes.
- Prepare concise, logical, and grammatically correct reports suitable for executive presentation.
- Calculate and track annual escalations for maintenances reserve rates.
- Coordinate with Contracts and Accounting to ensure accuracy of client billing activities.
- Assist Sales and technical teams with analysis of ROI and residual value for new acquisition opportunities.
Qualifications
- Interest in learning Avmax's business with a desire to take on roles of increasing responsibility within the leasing team.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Intermediate proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work with senior decision makers and interact with individuals at all levels of the organization.
- Self-driven individual who embraces change.
- A positive, "can-do" attitude and customer-oriented approach that will enable you to deal with challenging situations with integrity, empathy, and sincerity.
Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Aviation, Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting.
- Master's degree from an accredited MBA program is considered an asset.
- Airline, OEM, Leasing Company or MRO experience strongly preferred.
