Athletic Coaches, multiple sports

The Storm King School is a grade 8-12, co-ed, college preparatory boarding and day school of 175 students located in the spectacular Hudson Highlands, overlooking the Hudson River. The athletic department is looking Head and adjunct Coaches across multiple sports. this job offer is seasonal work and typically runs for 3-4 months. (Winter season: Mid-November through March 1; Spring Season Mid-March through May 25, 2024) Practices vary in start time. Earliest practice starts at 3:30 p.m., the latest start at 5:30 p.m. Matches are typically on Wednesdays and Saturdays. A coach is responsible for the development of student-athletes' sport specific expertise, as well as development in areas with alignment to SKS school values: Truth, Respect, and Responsibility. Coaching practice is required, playing practice is preferred. The coach may be asked to participate in regular staff meetings in alignment with their position in athletics. Candidates must have a valid driver's license and pass all applicable background checks.
Stipend: $2500 - 3500 located on practice
