The Junior Accountant role consists of monthly/annual closings. It requires analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail and thoroughness; autonomy and sense of responsibility, ability to work under pressure, planning and organizational skills.

What You’re Responsible for:

• Performing a variety of financial tasks from start to finish, including entry, reporting, reconciliation, and financial analysis. 
• Performing monthly account reconciliations and maintaining general ledgers. 
• Reconciling bank accounts daily. 
• Monitoring and reconciling cash activities for all sites. 
• Issue and monitor all cash and ATM orders for all sites.
• Assisting in preparation of timely and accurate financial statements. 
• Preparing, entering, and adjusting journal entries. 
• Recommending enhancements and improvements to existing processes 
• Day to day accounting related queries and other ad hoc reporting and duties as required

• Accounting Degree or Diploma and 2+ years of relevant experience. 
• Experience in performing account reconciliations and analysis. 
• Excellent communication skills both orally and written.
• Self-Motivated with the ability to multitask. 
• Excellent Excel Skills. 
• Strong attention to detail.
