As a Data Privacy Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing data privacy policies, procedures, and controls to protect personal data and ensure compliance with regulations such as GDPR and CCPA. Your expertise in data privacy best practices and regulations will be essential in mitigating risks and maintaining trust with customers. Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement data privacy policies, procedures, and controls to protect personal data.
- Conduct privacy impact assessments (PIAs) to identify and mitigate privacy risks.
- Monitor compliance with data privacy regulations such as GDPR, CCPA, and HIPAA.
- Provide guidance and training to employees on data privacy best practices and compliance requirements.
- Investigate and respond to privacy incidents and inquiries from regulators and customers.
Requirements- Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Privacy Law, or related field.
- Proven experience in data privacy, with expertise in privacy regulations and best practices.
- Strong understanding of GDPR, CCPA, and other privacy regulations.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Privacy certifications such as CIPP/E or CIPM are a plus.
