Job description

This is a contract position for a Technology Architect for our public sector client.
Work location: Downtown Toronto
Duration: Twelve Months
7.25 hours/day
This is a Hybrid role that requires the candidate to be onsite 3 days of the week (This is a mandatory requirement of the role and is non-negotiable outside of exceptional circumstances.)

Advantages
Good compensation working on projects that will make a difference to the people of Ontario.

Responsibilities
List business problems;
List how the Database addresses the business problems (rules, calculations, data sources);
Review with enterprise feeds/calculations;
Fit-Gap; and
Redo the work moving the data to a more definitive backend/feeds and create reporting to visualize the work being done (each business problem).

Deliverable:
Information Management. Need to understand all the business problems that this database addresses, how, with what data sources, and with what rules applied. This needs to be reviewed in the context of Enterprise business rules and data feeds to ensure that the logic applied aligns to these. Once gaps are identified a plan must be defined to ensure that each business problem is addressed, but using current data feeds, and tools - not to continue to create and use the legacy database silo.

Qualifications
- High degree of familiarity with documentation of scripts, particularly VB, and want to see that they include sources and calculations as well as in-line coding.
- Strategies to share - workshops, written, Q&A.
- Details on how the resource would conduct a fit gap, how they plan, and that they would review this with the SMEs in the team.
- Description of how the resource ensures that the revised plan to address the problem problem is successful.

Summary
If interested and qualified for this role, please apply today for immediate consideration!
