Job description

A & S Enterprises Ltd. located at 7805 140 ST Surrey, BC, Canada V3W 5K1 is currently looking 2 full- time, Drywall Installer to join their team and able to fulfill the following duties:

Job Duties:

• Measure, cut and fit drywall sheets for installation on walls and ceilings
• Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners
• Fill joints, nail indentations, holes and cracks with joint compound using trowel and broad knife
• Tape over joints using taping machine and embed tape in compound
• Apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and joints
• Fabricate and install suspended metal ceiling grids and place in panels to form acoustical and coffered ceilings.

Job Requirement:

• Completion of secondary school
• 3 years or more experience in related field is required.

Terms:

• Salary: $28.50 /Hourly. Overtime starts after 40 hours per week.
• Fulltime, Permanent.
• Must be willing to travel to work sites all over lower Mainland BC.

Major Work areas: Construction, renovation, Maintenance and repair

Work Conditions & Physical Capabilities: Physically demanding, Bending, crouching, kneeling, Combination of sitting, standing, walking.

Personal suitability: Team Player, Reliability

Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots.
